$3 Million Settlement For Hospital Medication Error

A hospital has agreed to pay $3 million to settle a lawsuit filed by the family of an 18-month-old girl who died. According to the lawsuit, the hospital administered penicillin to the child despite suspicion of an allergy to the drug. The lawsuit also claimed that the hospital destroyed evidence related to the case following the girl's death.
