FDA Warns About Prescription Acetaminophen

The Food and Drug Administration warns that acetaminophen, which is the active ingredient in Tylenol and other painkillers, can cause deadly skin rashes and blistering.

Two types of deadly skin conditions are Stevens-Johnson Syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis.

Warnings about these potential side effects will be required.
