My Baby Was Delivered By a Vacuum Device And Now There Are Problems-What Can I Do?

Posted by Frank Spector | Aug 10, 2012 | 0 Comments

In some deliveries a doctor will use a vacuum to get the baby out. Vacuum deliveries can be dangerous. A written guideline read by doctors says vacuum deliveries “can result in significant fetal (baby) injury if misued” (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinical Management Guidelines).

Misuse of the vacuum can result in the baby having bleeding on the brain, brain damage from trauma, and eye bleeding. We have seen cases of permanent brain damage which resulted in a baby needing life long medical care.

If you suspect that your baby was injured by a vacuum during delivery, call us toll free at 1-800-299-HURT. Or you may fill out the contact form on this page or on any page of our website.

At Frank Spector Law we help families like yours everyday.
