New Texting and Talking Law Takes Effect Today

Today, the law known as Jake's Law takes effect. If you cause an automobile accident while texting or talking on your cellphone, you can face up to a 1 year in jail.

Texting and driving is a major distraction, and is really the new form of “drunk” driving.

Please obey these laws and avoid texting and driving.
