Nursing Home Negligence

The family of an 89-year-old woman has filed a lawsuit accusing an Itasca, Ill. nursing home of negligence in her death. According to relatives, nursing home staff should have noticed that the woman, described as frail and suffering from dementia, had wandered away from the facility. She later froze to death in the courtyard of the Arbor of Itasca nursing home. Robert Mitchum, Chicago Tribune 02/12/2009
