Risk of Skin Cancer From Erectile Dysfunction Drug

In April 2014, a medical article in JAMA identified an increased risk of skin cancer in men taking .  This drug is widely used by men who suffer from erectile dysfunction.  has been widely marketed to consumers directly.

The study looked at 26,000 men who met the criteria and all of them used .

There were men who developed melanoma, which is a very aggressive form of skin cancer. Other skin cancers included basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell cancer.
