Veteran’s Widow Files Lawsuit Againt VA

A Pennsylvania Veteran's Affairs hospital waited more than two months to assign a psychiatrist to a severely depressed Iraq war veteran, according to a lawsuit filed by the man's widow. Donald Woodward committed suicide in 2003 while in outpatient care for depression. The lawsuit mirrors others across the nation seeking redress for allegedly substandard care at VA health facilities.
